Claire O'Neill's Staff ProfileClaire is currently studying for a BA Honours degree in Drama at St Mary’s College in Twickenham, and works part time at a local special needs school as the dance and drama teacher. Claire has co-ordinated summer play schemes for primary aged children with both moderate and severe disabilities and most recently ran a summer scheme for young adults with ADHD. Claire’s career started when she worked at a summer camp in America in 2003, arranging daily dance activities for adults with a range of disabilities. Claire’s role at camp also included general care for vacationers, including any medical and toileting needs. Claire also does occasional care and youth work within the Richmond borough which has ranged from young infants to the elderly. Claire has taken exams in numerous dance styles including Jazz, Tap, Modern, Disco, Ballroom and Latin with the standards set by The Imperial Society for the Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D). In her spare time, Claire enjoys going to the theatre, writing, watching Rugby and travelling the world. |
