Jeanette Sawka's Staff Profile

Jeanette is currently studying for a BA Honours degree in Primary Education with Early Childhood Studies at Roehampton University in London. Jeanette has experience working in schools around London and specialises in working with children in the Foundation Stage.

Jeanette works for Wandsworth Council during the school term on their Urban Scholars programme and has also had the opportunity to plan and be involved with their Family Learning sessions.

Jeanette has received training in Ballet and Gymnastics and in her spare time enjoys riding her bike around Richmond Park, trampolining or reading a good book.

Being a part of Waves has given Jeanette the chance to experience working with children and young adults with special needs whilst being in a fun and safe environment. Through the creative curriculum that is offered at Waves, Jeanette has been able to develop her own dancing and singing skills as well as help with the performances in drama, alongside the students.
